How's it feel to be on summer vacation before summer even starts? How's it feel to be out of third grade and getting ready for fourth? How about that storm on Friday? Where were you-what were you doing? I saw lightning hit Edison High-don't worry, that's what lightning rods are for-yeay to Ben Franklin and his invention! (Did you know that there were 100 lightning strikes in 5 minutes between Miami and Miami Beach). Enjoy your summer. Remember to let us know how you're doing and what you're doing. Yippee, Janelle! I'm so happy to hear from you. I'm more happy to hear that you got to see your dad. It is very difficult being away from family sometimes. It was hard for me when I moved to Florida away from everyone. I think that you appreciate people more when you realize that anyone can move away anytime, so you might as well enjoy them-right!? We ALL missed you very much. Hope you get this message. Hope to see you back in Florida, but mostly, I hope to see you and your family happy. Besides, you know where you can reach us. lol Oh, I kept calling a number looking for you and leaving messages saying that we hope you're okay, but a man called the school asking that I stop calling, because he didn't have a daughter. lol I thought you'd like that story. Tell your family that we were asking for them. Enjoy your summer!!!!!!!

Wednesday, 7/16 @ 8:02 am, the moon landing websited begins. At 6:03 pm, the shuttle is scheduled to launch. There's only 6 more shuttle launches for the rest of history! You'll be telling your kids and grandkids all about the shuttle, because it'll be over soon-FOREVER!
Oh, Janelle, if your mom, or you call the school, PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH YOUR PHONE # and even your address if you can. You could also leave your e-mail address, but definitely, your #!!!!! Hey, Janelle, you wrote on my birthday! I was interacting with a beluga whale! Is that cool, or what!? It was a surprise. I was just checking in this post to see if you're writing here-my goal is to get everyone to comment in one place, the 'write to your friends' place so we don't have to search to see who wrote and where. lol Did you see the nice note from Marysol? Make sure you don't type phone numbers here, but you can go to www.dadeschools.net, go to 'schools' click on 'j' for our school's name, get the phone #, and then you can call, or have your mom call. Ask them to take a message with you phone #, address, e-mail, or anything else you'd like to leave us. I'll make sure your friends get it. :) Keep in touch. Let us know how Colorado is and all the cool sites in nature you see. I'm sure you have different birds, insects, trees, etc. And you have MOUNTAINS!
