Hi Janelle, yes, I still like my old class. I sure miss everyone. I go through this every year. I miss my old students, :( but I'm actually happy to see them grow inside and out. :) I am getting to know my class this year. This group seems to love comics more than any other group I've had. Maybe, they'll all go to Free Comic Book Day the first weekend of May. lol What's your hypothesis? How about you - do you miss your class here and the old one in Colorado from last year? How's this year's class? Are you enjoying being home?

Yes, fourth grade does have a lot of work. I try very hard to prepare everyone for the next grade level. Nope, we haven't been exploring. My class doesn't seem to be too excited about it this year, but we'll see. They are very excited to get involved in the garden. I got some seeds from NASA that were flown in space. A group of students will plant them. We've listened to our environment - observed the clouds, listened to rain, felt the wind and observed its marks. We've also used the solar viewer. This year's class seemed to REALLY love looking at the sun. It's funny how each class is different. How about yours? What's your class interested in doing? What are they up to?

Oh, I'll tell them to listen to me. You probably remember me telling your class to listen to me - right? I had a fifth grader visit my class this year and tell my class to listen to me. He also told them that they'd come back to visit me when they are in fifth. I don't know. lol I am sure that the students will enjoy hearing that you send them a big hello just like I do. :)
