Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy your day of remembering all of your blessings. We have so much for which to be thankful.
Here's some lame Thanksgiving jokes to tell at dinner. :)
- If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? (answer: Pilgrims!) lol Get it? Mayflowers!
- What kind of key has legs, but can't open any doors? (a turKEY!)
- How do you make gold soup? (add 14 carrots!) Get it? Gold is measured in KARATS. ohh!
- What does a space turkey say? (Hubble, Hubble, Hubble) Get it? The Hubble telescope
Here's a link to TONS of Thanksgiving activities. Click, see the turkey, scroll down and that list has kids stuff to do if you get bored. http://www.kidskonnect.com/content/view/131/27/

Track the International Space Station!
Wow, can you believe that we are able to view the ISS tonight right in our own backyard? Is that cool, or what? Click on the link to see the exact place to look. This is a great time to get Dads to help with Homelearning! lol They're usually great with directions. I met Jon Scieszka-you can see him tomorrow!
Wow, it was packed! Jon Scieszka told so many funny stories about his books and his life. I actually purchased his new book, Knuckleheads, which he autographed for us! Are you happy? Someone took a picture of us! He also has new books for little kids, now. I bought two for my nephews and got The Time Warp Trio for the nieces! :) I finally got The Frog Prince Continued...! I also got another Time Warp Trio book-I'll show you Monday. It was a great day! I thought of you and hoped that you read my note and lived up to your nobility! :) I look forward to seeing you and telling you all about it. Maybe, I'll see you tomorrow! It'll be fun!
Here's Jon Scieszka's website: http://www.jsworldwide.com/
Jon Scieszka was very happy to receive your letters, I invited him, but he is very busy. The man who took our picture might visit us! :)

Time for Kids Election!
Lots of Election Day information for you to read and learn. Hope you're not sitting home bored to death! Remember to read and get ready to RUMBLE tomorrow! Did you tell your parents that you voted? Cool, huh? Watch to see the "board game" tonight to see which candidate gets which electoral college votes. Who will get Florida's 25? Make your prediction. Who will get 270? Lots of thinking to do. http://www.timeforkids.com/TFK/election08/ Don't forget that you can always write to and/or e-mail the president! http://www.whitehouse.gov/kids/ or http://www.whitehouse.gov/
